Dear Friends, I am looking for anyone who knew Patricia Medina 1952-1970
I have recently, thank you to dogpile.com (great meta search engine) been able to contact Trish's family (Her father Miguel passed away October, unknown year in Ocala FL )
Trish's sweet mother Elizabeth (Mijita) spoke at length with me. And Pamela, who is waging a serious battle with MS. Ronald, I hear, is in Boston. You were babies then. What can you remember.
Mijita and I were trying to recall who was with Patricia the night of her death. We believe it was Janet and....? Leslie? Our mind's eye sees you. But it has been so long, so many life times ago that we cannot quite get those neurons to retrieve the dusty imprints.
Trish lived in Hicksville NY on Cherry Lane until 1969 when the family moved to an area in Miami.
On January 17, 1970 a drunk driver took her life. Ended her artistic explorations, her earthly connections to us. Leaving us to live our journeys without her physical grace and love. Now as we old hippies (in the 'goodest' sense!) are approaching the big 60, I need to create something for this person who will always be 17 as long as we endure. Her legacy. What is it exactly?
The grief has been in my heart these past 40 (!) years and she remains an inspiration, muse, and rock for me. The pain of this loss for her mother is beyond my ability to comprehend.
Every time I pick up my harmonicas or play music....I feel her gentle presence.
Please contact via email or via phone on main page of site www.daltonprives.com
Peace and love,
Jackie
this is just what happens, and we wish we could just notice it and nothing more
